Huntsinger Organic turkeys are 100% organic and free range, humanely raised in surroundings with fresh air, clean pure water, sunshine, and plenty of room to roam. Only 100% vegetarian organic feed is used without animal by products, antibiotics, growth stimulants, chemical fertilizers, or genetically modified grains.
Huntsinger Organic must follow the strict federal standards of The National Organic Program that was made into law by the Organic Foods Production Act. The USDA Organic seal is the consumers’ assurance that the organic foods they purchase are produced, processed, and certified to be consistent with national organic standards.
California Certified Organic Farmers (CCOF) certifies Huntsinger Organic turkeys to be in compliance with the national organic standards. Huntsinger Organic must pass annual inspections by CCOF in order to remain certified organic.
